Two of the main charities Dr. Long played concerts for were for Father Edison's Holy Spirit Parish in Pangarap Village, Tala, Kalookan City and the Diocese of Iligan and the St. Joseph the Patriarch Parish of Mabolo, Cebu City.The parishes in Kalookan City are very poor and can always use financial help. The proceeds from the benefit concerts Dr. Long performed for in VILLA SAN MIGUEL the Archbishop's Residence in Mandaluyong City, at San Carlos Seminary in Makati City, and CHRIST THE KING PARISH in Querzon City all were for the Parish of the Holy Spirit. These are all cities in the Manila region. The Concert at St. Joseph
the Patriarch Parish of Mabolo was for the Cebu area. Dr Long enjoyed hearing the mass at the Church of ANG MULING PAGKABUHAY NG ATING PANGINOON celebrated by Father Paul John Camiring. It was a treat to meet all the people she was trying to help and to sing for their large and active music ministry team! His parish is desperately in need of a new Keyboard!!...and a bigger church! Dr Long was deeply touched by the devotion of the people and the extreme poverty around them. Dr Long will continues her charity concerts for the people as opportunities arise.
